the Author
Monica R. Parker
helps lawyers create fulfilling careers and lives—in or
outside of the law. Through her company, Parker
provides the tools lawyers need to achieve career
satisfaction, including individual coaching. She is a
popular presenter at bar and legal associations,
offering interactive, fun, and humorous keynote speeches
that inspire her audiences.
Before starting her company,
Parker practiced law for five years, first at a Big Firm
and then at a boutique. She also served as a Lecturer
on Law at Harvard Law School teaching the Negotiation
Workshop. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School
and her B.A. cum laude from Harvard College.
Prior to her legal career,
Parker worked in grocery store management in Atlanta, GA
and film development for Spike Lee at 40 Acres and A
Mule Filmworks in Brooklyn, NY and is still passionate
about grocery stores and movies. She resides in
Atlanta, GA.
